Did you know? Creating a 20 minute a day reading routine outside of school for your children could increase their vocabulary and reading comprehension.

Association of Black Creatives and Autumn Events are teaming up to introduce The Reading Bubble, a pop up event that allows children to enjoy reading a wide variety of books for 15 to 20 minutes in a location outside of home and school.

Our goal is to promote healthy reading routines amongst African American children.

Each month we will visit parks around the Houston area and allow children the opportunity to bring their own books to read, choose a book from our collection, and/or exchange books to continue reading at home until our next event.
